Robert the Flying Pig is a picture book for kids between the ages 2 and 9. It can be read as a bed time story for babies, or given a child to read for themselves. The story follows Robert, a pig who dreams of flying. When Robert learns of a flying race organised by Eagle in the forest, he decides to attend. Luckily, Dwayi the secretarybird, agrees to borrow him wings, and Robert launches into the sky. Against Eagle’s advise that he should fly low, Robert soars, enjoying himself. Now he sees an opportunity to win the race, and beat birds at their own game. But sadly for him, his wings have been stuck to his body with glue. And when Robert has flown closer to the sun, the glue begins to melt, and a terrible thing happens. Something that changes his life forever.
